Semper Fire Engineering and HUBER Car Park Systems UK are researching a contemporary fire protection design for open car parks.
Until now, it was generally assumed that the fire load and the risk of significant fire spread in a parking garage fire were relatively low. However, recent technical changes and serious fires in car parks have cast doubt on these assumptions and called into question the design of car parks for adequate fire safety.
