The topping-out ceremony at the new central campus of the University of Applied Sciences for Police and Public Administration North Rhine-Westphalia (HSPV NRW) in Herne marked another important milestone in a forward-looking overall project.
Together with our partner HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions GmbH, we celebrated the visible progress of construction at the new university location. As a project partner, Huber Parking is constructing a multi-storey car park to provide students and staff with modern, efficient and sustainable mobility infrastructure.
The car park has 16 half-floors and an efficient traffic management system. Around 1,000 tonnes of steel construction and approximately 27,000 m² of ceiling space demonstrate the scale of the project. The concept is complemented by e-charging infrastructure and digital parking management systems tailored to the requirements of a modern university campus.
We were particularly pleased to have the opportunity to discuss the importance of high-performance education and security locations in North-Rhine-Westphalia with Herbert Reul, the Interior Minister of North-Rhine-Westphalia. We would like to thank him for the constructive discussion and all those involved in the project for their cooperative partnership. We are now looking forward to taking the next steps towards completion.
